Other points to keep in mind
- if you need to use the service while your complaint is being dealt with, consider what arrangements you need to have in place and discuss this with the provider
- keep a record of all correspondence, who you talk to and what happens, this may help you if you need to take further action
- do not give up if nothing happens. Phone the provider to ask about the progress of your complaint.
- if you do not hear from the provider within 30 days or making your complaint or you are unable to sort out the matter after making all reasonable efforts you should consider contacting HCSCC.
