Media Release – The needless deaths of people with intellectual disability must be urgently addressed

Steve Tully, the Health and Community Services Complaints Commissioner (HCSCC) for SA issued a media release to comment on the findings of a University NSW study that found people with intellectual disabilities were twice as likely to die a potentially avoidable death than the general public.
